Zlatko Krmpotic says they will take a serious post-mortem of Sunday’s away draw against Nkana to ensure their is no repeat of the wasted opportunity to get maximum points.
Zesco United on April 30 blew away a 2-0 lead at Nkana to  finish 2-2 with the 12-time champions at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
“Maybe we were tired but we must not make the same mistakes for the next game,” Zlatko said.
“We have to win our next game but now we have go back home and work on these mistakes.”
The result saw Nkana end Zesco’s 100 per cent start to the 2017 league campaign following three victories on the trot against Konkola Blades winning 2-0 at home, beating Nchanga Rangers 4-1 also in Ndola and defeating Nakambala Leopards 1-0 away in Mazabuka.
“My team failed to finish the game with a 2-0 lead, but OK I am not happy, but satisfied with one point,” Zlatko said.
Zesco are back on the road on May 6 when they face Napsa Stars away in Lusaka in a  lunchtime kickoff at National Heroes Stadium.
However, despite the draw, Zesco lead the table on 10 points, tied with Lumwana Radiants, whom they beat to top spot on goal difference.
