Zesco United eye top spot on Wednesday when they visit the Sweet Boys Nakambala Leopards in Mazabuka.
Second placed Zesco have 6 points and in red hot form after scoring six goals and conceding one goal in their opening two league games of the 2017 season.
Victory will send Zesco two points clear and see them swap places with fellow unbeaten side Lumwana Radiants.
But Zesco will continue to be without John Chingandu who is still sidelined with illness and has already missed the two opening league matches of the season.
The development will see Lazarus Kambole continue in his place and the spotlight will again be firmly on him following his three goal haul in Zesco’s last two league matches.
And Nakambala, who have 4 points from two games, will also be out to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign .
Nakambala come into the match after beating Green Buffaloes 1-0 away in Lusaka on April 23 and earlier collecting a 1-1 away draw at Nkana
in Kitwe on April 8.
Meanwhile, the game also comes five months after Nakambala and Zesco met in the two league encounters in the first week of December, 2016.
Zesco won their scheduled final day fixture of the 2016 season 1-0 at home on December 4 before traveling to Mazabuka where they demolished Nakambala 4-0 on December 10 in a delayed Week 18 match.
