Zesco United are hoping to move within six points of leaders Zanaco on Saturday when they play Green Buffaloes this Saturday.
The defending FAZ Super Division champions hosts 5th placed Buffaloes in a rescheduled Week 14 match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Second positioned Zesco have 31 points, tied with third placed Nkana while Zanaco lead on 40 points.
George Lwandamina’s side are back in action just three days after reclaiming second spot following a 2-0 home win at the same venue over 11th placed Red Arrows.
Zesco also heads into the match hoping to stretch their unbeaten league run against Buffaloes to a seventh straight meeting after picking up three wins and as many draws.
The two sides last Super Division meeting in July of the 2015 season saw Zesco triumphant with a 2-1 home win.
Meanwhile, Zesco will be without midfielder Cletus Chama who will be completing his two-match ban following the red card he received in the 2-0 away win over Lusaka Dynamos on June 22.
However, striker Jesse Were will be hoping to remain firmly ahead in the hunt for the 2016 Golden Boot after netting his 11th league goal in that victory over Arrows.
Another home win for Zesco will be particularly give them a massive lift in this their last league game before turning their attention to continental obligations when they host ASEC Mimosa of Cote d’Ivoire on July 16 in a 2016 CAF Champions League Group A fixture.
