Zesco host Red Arrows

Zesco United eye second position on Wednesday they hosts Red Arrows in a rescheduled Week 4 match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

The defending FAZ Super Division champions turn their focus back onto domestic affairs exactly seven days after losing 2-0 away to Wydad Casablanca in a Group A fixture on match-day-two of the 2016 CAF Champions League.

Victory over Arrows will lift Zesco, who have four games in hand, to 31 points, tied with Nkana who currently occupy that spot.

Meanwhile, Zesco will be hunting for their third straight league win over Arrows following back-to-back victories over the Lusaka club last season.

Zesco beat Arrows 2-0 away in Lusaka last August after picking up a 3-2 home victory at Levy earlier April last season.

Meanwhile, George Lwandmina’s side is at full strength but influential midfielder Cletus Chama is the only absentee following his red card in their 2-0 away win over Lusaka Dynamos.

Striker Jesse Were will be banked on for goals to try and emulate the three goals the man whose shoes has filled at Zesco Winston Kalengo who left this season to join AC Leopards of Congo-Brazzaville.

Meanwhile, visiting Arrows are 11th going into the match on 20 points with one win and four draws from their last six matches played in June.
