Zesco United battle to return to the top three on Tuesday when they host Lumwana Radiants in a Week 28 game at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The game come three days after Zesco drew 0-0 away in South Africa against SuperSport United in a 2017 CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal, first leg tie in Pretoria.
Zesco are 6th on 46 points heading into Tuesdays game and victory over 10th placed Lumwana,who have 39 points.
Victory will see Zesco replace Nkana at number three and see them move within four points of leaders Green Buffaloes and also place them one point adrift of 2nd placed Zanaco.
“These two games(Lumwana and SuperSport) are two different games.This is a league match and such games are important for us to win the league,” defender David Owino said.
But missing will be striker and Zesco’s top scorer on 11 goals Jesse Were who has a knee injury sustained against SuperSport last Friday night.
Also out is midfielder Kondwani Mtonga who have a bereavement.
Meanwhile, the game comes less than two months after Zesco beat Lumwana 1-0 away in a rescheduled Week 9 game on August 2.
Lumwana have yet to also beat Zesco since making their top flight debut in 2016 when they lost 2-0 at home last November and drew 1-1 earlier in May at Levy Stadium.
