Zesco United finished 3-3 with Orlando Pirates in an international club friendly played at Rand Stadium in Johannesburg on Thursday afternoon.
Pirates started the match with their reserve side before putting some of the players who featured in Wednesday night’s 3-0 away loss at Ajax Cape Town.
An Enock Sabamukama first half brace gave Zesco a 2-1 halftime lead.
Sabamukama later made way at halftime for Mwape Mwelwa while the other changes at the break included Misheck Chaila off for Anthony Akumu, Adams Zikiru replaced Jesse Were while Logic Chingandu came on for his big brother John.
Goalkeeper Jacob Banda was replaced by Lameck Nyangu and Akumu later made way for David Owino in match Dave Daka played as an improvised right back.
Pirates then rallied to take a 3-2 lead but Logic Chingandu restored parity via a free kick to ensure Zesco stayed unbeaten during the ten-day camp in Johannesburg.
The friendly was Zesco’s third during the ongoing South Africa training camp after drawing 0-0 with Mozambique champions Songo before beating Highlands Park 2-1.
